OUR INSPIRATION

GURU HARKRISHAN SAHIB JI

Guru Harkrishan, the second and younger son of Guru Har Rai, was born on July 7, 1656. He succeeded to the Gaddi in 1661at the age of five. His elder brother Sri Ram Rai lost out to him on account of the cowardice which he displayed at the court of Aurangzeb.When his younger brother was appointed to the guruship at Kiratpur, Ram Rai was at Aurangzeb's court in Delhi. Promptly he lodged a complaint to the Emperor against his father's decision.
